Quick question for you ladies. I'm flying with my kids tomorrow and DD will be on my lap. I've read that they might request the birth certificate to confirm the age. Does anyone know if I can bring a photocopy or does it need to be the actual birth certificate. TIA!

Re: Flying with a lap baby
Yup! I would go with this. GL in your travels!

I've always brought a copy and never had any trouble.
ETA - the only airline to ever ask for it was Southwest.
I have never flown with it and we fly often. I also think southwest is the only one that asks
We have flown several times with DD as a lapchild. Most recently, with Continental and they did ask for her BC. We always take the original, just to be safe.
