Lent fish fries - know of any?
Back home, every Friday during Lent there are fish fries at tons of churches and KofC halls. They are usually really good, all you can eat, and cheap. I have spent like 30 minutes Googling and the best I can come up with around here is Frederick. Do you ladies know of any others?

I live in Baltimore and I hear of one's in the African American community but I don't think they were Fridays and I don't think they are specific to lent...but it's more of community dinners with chicken or fish. We had one guy when I worked at JCP that would make a run every hour to his church and pick up food for us, it was 8.00 for the huge platter of food.
Do you have the patch in your community...like we have the parkville patch...they may have some advertised.
I'll check the AA County and Annapolis Facebook pages.......
