I have noticed that I have a short stride, which I am short so there is only so long of a stride I am going to have. But I am noticing that it needs to be worked on along with working on posture and fist clenching (which the potato chip thread got me thinking:))
So my question is....how have you worked on improving your form? I know it needs to be gradual and a natural change in order to not cause any injury. I have also seen some drills to help, so any drill ideas are also welcomed

That could be more of what I am referring too.... So would drills help that? I feel that I "shuffle" my feet to much, if that makes sense.

Maybe focus on light footsteps? Think quick and light? Don't let your foot stay on the ground for too long. I saw someone on here mention a 'cadence' which reminds me of the band marching. It's just quick and powerful and light.
I do know your foot is supposed to land under you and not in front of you so a longer stride isn't the key.
I think the biggest thing I fight is sloppy posture. I have to focus on keeping my core centralized and hips loose. It keeps me from bending at the waist and instead I tilt my entire body at a slight forward angle. When I started to do this, I definitely noticed a change in my running speed.
ETA: Before I fixed the posture thing, I definitely felt like I was shuffling.
