Sometimes I can be irrational
I've noticed that lately I silently cuss out my email for letting an occasional spam message in.
What irrational things do you do?

Re: Sometimes I can be irrational
I get irrationally angry that I get a note on my trash can from the City the day after trash pickup, saying to bring it off the street. My trash can isn't hurting anyone, dammit.
In the time it took someone to write that note, they could have brought it in for me
When people call my work number multiple times in a row and don't leave a VM. They just call and call for a 10 min period but won't say what the urgency is. It makes me so mad!
I get irrationally mad when people don't bring them back in. I'm in a never ending battle with my useless about HOA about this issue.
As of late, I'm irrationally irritated that my local Starbucks is under renovation and working out of a trailer. I don't want to stand outside and wait for my coffee.
Dup.
That makes me mad too.
I also get mad at people who can't drive. IE doing 20 in a 45 for NO reason, cutting people off and being down right oblivious to shiit
Yes, but you have an HOA. I don't. I live on a cul-de-sac in a college neighborhood of 1980's duplexes... a trash can left out for less than 24 hours is not the biggest issue here. I wish the city would spend their time and money on more important matters like putting stop signs up on our streets, fixing potholes, etc.
In your case I have no issues. I work in property management, so the fact that the HOA of my community sucks gets to me. People leave the cans on the street even though it's clearly stated in the community documents that they must be stored out of sight.
I'm getting crap from my HOA right now about the way my doorknob looks. Yeah seriously. Never mind that someone keeps breaking the security gate (making them in violation of their own association by not offering a private gated community), the gym equipment, the landscape that our fees go to destroyed. No they're up in arms over the fact that my doorknob doesn't match the rest of the complexes (it was installed before we moved in. We got a 2nd notice and we put down that we didn't receive a first notice and that since it's been well over a year, it's now considered a silent agreement and we weren't going to do anything about it).
How is your Association doing financially? Many people don't realize how costly all the items you listed are to maintain. If owners don't pay, it puts the HOA in a tight spot.
As for the door knob, what do your Architectural guidelines dictate? Did a builder or previous owner install the door knob?
I assume they're doing well. The complex is pretty filled up. As for the doorknob it was installed before they even put it up for sale and we didn't get anything for well over a year and a half so, bully for them.
Actually I stand corrected. I am not sure how many owners there are but there are sure a lot of renters, a lot of them HUD residents as well.
As for the doorknob issue, we do plan on fighting it. We also plan on taking on the owner of the property in the near future.
