How did you know it was time for new shoes?
My knees and hips are aching today after my 5 mile run last night. I bought my shoes in mid-October and I'm probably around 200+ miles. I thought they would last a little longer so is it possible it is another issue?

that seems way fast. my guess is something else.
if your training program is anything like mine, these next two weeks are when the mileage peaks and I'm working pretty hard. so things are achy that aren't usually achy and, at week 9.5 of 12, I'm tired. I'm not exhausted or in pain, but I've been working hard these last couple of months and I can feel it.
BUT it could be that you've just hit the point where those shoes are working for you anymore and you need new ones.
