First there was that crazy co-dependent wife who wanted her husband's company to schedule business trips so she could go with him.
(the code pendant wife was on ML I believe--trying to find the link)
Now, on TTGP, there is this woman who is upset because her husband is not trying to get out of work so he can be home during her fertile window. I mean, I get it, you want a baby (believe me, I get it!), but FFS-- asking your husband to tell his boss that he can't go on a business trip?
My husband travels 25% of the time for his job (and what about the military? They can't be like, "No Uncle Sam, I can't deploy because of my wife's fertile window!") and he would never have dreamed of asking them not to travel for TTC reasons.
Anywho is here is the OP:
WiscoMom67:
I am so f-ing angry right now I could seriously hurt somebody. Today is CD1 of our 4th cycle. Dec - DH was out of town for work during my fertile week. Jan - DH didn't feel well that week, but assured me next month would be it Feb - DH was out of town during O -- best we could get was O-2. Mar - JUST found out DH will AGAIN be out of town during my fertile week, with likely 0 chances, since I'll likely O 3 days after he leaves. And he's not gone that much, it's just always the WRONG week! It's like his boss is sabotaging our plans for a 2nd child! And I'm freaking LIVID that DH doesn't do or say somethng to prevent it. It's not like it's exactly his choice or that he gets to plan these things on his schedule, but I wish he would tell his boss ahead of time that he has family committments during whichever weeks and see if they could plan around it.

WTF?? I get it, family time is important, but for pete's sake people!
Re: Dude, some women are crazy. (Link in Post)
There are ways to make it happen that don't require him to miss his work obligations. But I imagine I'd be pretty upset if we missed four cycles in a row. I've miscarried two consecutive pregnancies and it makes me wonder how many times I'm going to have to get pregnant before I actually have a baby. I could definitely understand her disappointment and frustration but I think it's unreasonable to ask him to tell his boss he can't travel for it.
BFP #4 It's a BOY!

We miss you and love you always, little firecrackers!
Maybe it's the board it's posted on but there are way too many "oh poor you's" in response.
And there's the squicky use of BD.
ED: Fix spelling.
Lol now I have to go see! Lololol
Ahhh seems they saw the thread:

Sorry I can't make it a click-able. I am on my iPhone.
Bored? Yes-- I guess? But it's the nature of the nest. I don't think it's that awful to remark upon the ridiculousness of the thread. I completely understand that TTC can be an emotionally trying process. However, the OP is on cycle #4 & has no idea if she will ovulate late or early. There is always next month & I think being livid and/or crying your eyes out is a big over reaction. I understand that she is just venting but it's over the top expecting your husband's employer or even your husband to put off business needs in order to TTC. It's important, yes, but my goodness. As 8days said he could lose his job if he pulls that for every month!
Also, I lol at the "they're just jealous" comment. So because I think the poster is acting like a loon I am jealous?
Why is the retort always "they need to get lives"? I have a life thank you. A very busy one. I understand they are in a position where they can't see the forest for the trees on that issue.
