So it's nearly 7pm on a Friday night and the Nest NOW decides to work.
How was your day. I started out by breaking the wipers on the car so we are not really going anywhere until they can get fixed with is Tuesday.
SS didn't have school today either but that was schedule like that not because of snow. He did a really good job cleaning up the kitchen, I think mainly because he knew I was upset about the car breaking.
How about you all. Anything you need to report in about?

GAH! No nest= long day!
Such a stressful morning. Daycare lady was sick and sent a text at 1:00 am, but I didn't get the message because I never look at my phone in the AM..because no one has EVER contacted me at that hour. I showed up to her house and she was all "you didn't get my text?" Um.....no? Crap. I had to scramble for a sec and called my dad to see if he was home to watch R and he didn't have plans thank God. I guess that's the one good thing about my dad being unemployed for the past year and half, he's always available. He was actually really excited to watch her, so it was a win-win. My sis had a snow day too, so it was fun for her.
Our receptionist/accounting assistant tattled on me to my boss today about an invoice keying error, which wasn't a big deal at all. My boss was cool about it and gave receptionist chick the side eye for making a big deal out of nothing and told me it was no big deal. So that was cool. My work issue I was stressed about earlier this week turned out to be no big deal too, so that was a relief.
SIL made a comment that made my blood boil. She said that when she graduates from college, she's not wasting her $$ college education working outside her field at all. Um....she's mooched and lived for FREE at her grandma's for the past 3 years and has the nerve to say that she's going to be picky about her employment options. I can't stand her attitude. She's got a huge chip on her shoulder and has a sense of entitlement which drives me nuts.
We're about to drink some beers and eat some wings. Yum.

I thought my job had blocked the nest yesterday. I was sad.
In class right now. Not paying attention (bad I know). I'm hungry and cold. I think the heat is broken in this room.
Tonight is movie and burger night. I can't wait. Sweat pants here I come!! Not that I'm not wearing the heck out of this dress I have on. Stockings are suffocating my thighs though.

I am hating this weekend and I just want it to be over.
We found out Thrusday night that a friend of Dan's and an old co-worker of mine Passed away Wednesday night. It was even on the news. Her car slid off I-196 near Chicago Dr. She was only 24. We have her funeral to go to on Tuesday and that is all that I seam to be able to think about.
On a happier note I had my prenatal check up on friday and Baby Jack sounds really good. I talked to the Dr. about him seaming to a HUGE baby. He verrified that I am measuring a little big! So at least I am not crazy and this little man is a big monster. I feel like I am already out of room for him to grow, and I still have 10 weeks to go.
Can we just skip to Wednesday? Or better yet April, somewhere near the end?
Draven: Sorry about the loss of a friend. It is never easy and always seems worse when they are young like that.
April will be here before you know it. I can't believe that later this week it will be March already.
Wop: Did SIL get a degree in? Is it likely that she will be able to go right into that field or does she have a wakeup call coming?
BnG: How was burger night?
I went up to Vitalies last night and my "Aunt" and her boyfriend/manfriend. They have only been seeing each other for a short time and his donkey of a brother now knows that we all meet up there on Saturday nights. So after he left last night we decide to switch it up next week and go somewhere on my side of town. It wouldn't have been an issue if donkey brother hadn't driven by my Aunt's house a couple time in the last week to so where she lives.
She's getting degree/license in dental hygiene. She graduates in April. She hasn't had a job of any kind in two years and has been living with her grandma for free for those two yesrs. She hasn't even been going to school full time the past 6 mos. She's been partying it up basically. And getting a full time hygienist job is HARD. A friend of ours is a hygienist and says most offices only hire for part time, and that the current job placement rate right now in MI is only 10% because the field is so saturated. Yeah....I'm pretty sure she knows this and is still saying she's going to hold out for a related job and will refuse to do any other kind of work.
