I want to try an at home program but I'm not ready for P90X or Insanity. I'm already pretty active. I go to the gym 3-4 days a week and do weight and cardio. I just want to change up my routine. Has anyone tried it? Any thoughts??
Re: Slim in 6?
I did it a few years ago based on a friend's success with it. She lost quite a bit following the workout and loosely watching her diet.
Honestly- I found it realllly boring. It's just not very high energy and I didn't enjoy it. I personally like more fast paced, energetic workouts. I think I lasted maybe three weeks into it before giving up- and I didn't lose any weight from it.
Have you tried any of the dvds from The Firm? I have quite a few and like them a lot. Many of them just require dumbbells, but check the dvds before buying to make sure you don't need one of their steps or something.
If you do decide to try Slim in 6 (or any other dvds for that matter)- Good luck!!
A did it five years ago when I first got into healthy eating/working out. I lost about three sizes and a lot of inches. I went on to do the Slim Series as well.
After a while, it became very boring. It's not upbeat or fast paced and Debbie was just too "nice" for me.
With that said, those DVDs coupled with healthy eating, I lost a lot of weight-about 25 lbs.
