Hello everyone!
I was wondering if anyone here had a Primary Care doctor they love and would recommend. I finally have a need to go to a general doctor and am not sure where to go. I live in macomb, but work in troy so I'm flexible. Anyone?

It may be a little out of the way for you, but my family has gone to East Area Family Physicians for as long as I can remember. My dad was close friends with one of the doctors there, but all of them are great. I have seen two in particular the most - Dr Edwards and Dr Costea. PM if you'd like more information!

Hey Patty! I was just thinking about you the other day and wondering how you are. How's the kids doing? Are you on Facebook? We really need to catch up one of these days
Anyhow, I've gone to Troy Internal before and I liked them. It's a bigger practice, so it's pretty easy to get an appointment. They also have evening hours, which are hard to come by! I also liked that the doctor actually called with any lab work, instead of relaying messages through a nurse. The only downside is their office could really use some updating- but that's just being picky http://www.troyinternalmedicine.com/

Its been a while since I have been to my fav docs office. DH work switched health insurance to an even crappier plan than we had before so I had to find a new doctor in the new network However,.... I LOVE love love. Dr. Mitag! She is at Macomb Oakland Adult Medicine in Rochester.
