2012 Reading Challenge

I voted other. If I'm using Kraft singles it is yummiest with two slices, however since being here we rarely buy Kraft singles (in fact I didn't even realize they existed here until a couple of months ago) and we typically use Tasty cheese for making grilled cheese sandwiches. We have to slice it ourselves so I generally slice it fairly generously for this.
I like it best when the cheese has melted down the outside of the bread. Yummy!
Yeah but the kraft singles here are not the same as the US ones!
We make jaffles (kind of like a toasted sandwich maker) and I tend to put so much cheese in that I end up spending an hour clearing the jaffle maker because of the spillage.
Love grilled cheese. I don't usually use pre-sliced cheese for this. I'm either cutting the slices myself or shredding the cheese, which provides for a more even ratio of cheese to bread (yes, I am that anal). I also like to use fresh mozz with a bit of basil or pesto--scrumptious!
I stagger.
Sidenote: a grilled cheese restaurant just opened near me and I got a groupon or $9 that will get me 2 sandwiches and 2 sodas. Can't wait to go!

I also slice the cheese myself, from blocks of cheese. I generally slice a fairly thick piece of cheese for my grilled cheese!
