Once Upon a Time 2/19- Spoilers
Anyone know what August was doing with the book? Was he fixing it? Cleaning it b/c it got dirty being buried? Making a fake book? Any guesses who August really is?
Re: Once Upon a Time 2/19- Spoilers
I was wondering the same thing. My guess is I think he was making copies? He seems like a good guy but who knows.... I wanna know how Catherine just disappears!
Me too. I like how her guy came and found her car at the end. (I forget his name.) I think he was making copies too.

Re: August. I always assumed that he's a Grimm brother.
Didn't the witch end up with the first book?
Which witch? The Hansel/Gretel witch? The last thing I remember about the book is that Henry buried it at the playground.
I haven't seen tonight's episode yet, but a previous episode showed the Grimm brother/typewriter guy with the book.
The playground was destroyed in the storm, and Henry couldn't find the book where he buried it. At the end of that episode, it showed the Grimm-typewriter guy with it in his room.
This is what I thought as well.
That's what I thought, too. He changed the story so that Charming and Abigail didn't end up together, this changed things in Storybrooke, much to the Queen's surprise it seemed. Maybe she disappeared b/c she can't leave Storybrooke? Maybe the Wolf had something to do with it, like how he stopped Emma from leaving? I was expecting to see him while she was leaving town. He seems to be working for the Queen too.
I got the impression he was dipping the pages in the water from the well that leads to that magic lake. I think if he were to add or take out anything Henry would notice.
Mommy's little helper
I think he was re-writing something or adding the pages that Henry ripped out perhaps? IDK, but I like him so far.
I was really disappointed in the way David handled the Catherine/Mary Margaret situation. It made him look like such a coward! He's not living up to his Prince Charming/ Emma's wonderful daddy in these modern times!
I also like how Frederick was the one to find Catherine's car!
Ohhh I didn't even think of the connection to the water!
Me, either! That's good, though!
I like this idea too....so each person whose page was dipped gets back something they have lost...Interesting
Still hate David. Ahole.
This. Or he was changing the story. I'm still not convinced he's "good". He might be working with the Queen to change the story.
I'm just ehhh on this episode. Loved the Fairy Tale Land part, hated the Storybrooke part.
Really surprised at how much I started to like Kathrine/Abigail. It turns out Abigail had a reason for being such a hooch in earlier episodes and I really liked her true love story with Fredrick. And woohoo Katherine for realizing that her "marriage" to David never felt real. I really hope Regina didn't kill her ( a la Graham) by burning that letter.
I hate that the writers are making me dislike David so much. There's such a stark contrast between him and Prince Charming.
August and book- who knows what he was doing but I'm sure we'll find out in future episodes, I really doubt he changed anything but adding to it might be a possibility. I loved the part when Granny said she'd go with him if Emma didn't- gotta love a dirty old lady.
I'm bummed that we have to wait 2 weeks for a new episode and it didn't even look all that captivating.
I did enjoy when kathrine/abigail bumped into the school teacher with the soccer balls and that was a hint that he is her true love?and then at the end he finds her car?.
I think with regina burning the letter she made her disappear/kill her like she did with the graham/huntsman?.and that this gives her the perfect opportunity to have emma put david in jail for killing her/making her disappear since he had a lot to gain with by her leaving....and making sure he doesn't end up with his true love in storybrook
Also, henry has to notice something is new with the book because they tore out the last few pages of the book so regina wouldn?t be able to see that snow/prince charming had a baby named emma?that picture was in the book and stuff?.so if August cleaned and added to the book?.they are going to have to see pages are missing and/or replaced
my read shelf:
Emma threw the torn out pages into the fireplace... I think! Unless I guess he replaced them somehow.
I actually like that he's not the perfect guy, knight in shining armor type of character in Storybrook. One of the things people complain about in fairy tales is that Prince Charming doesn't exist, no one's perfect, real life is more complicated, yadda, yadda, yadda.
I'd rather he screw up trying to figure out who to be with and eventually redeem himself than just be like "Oh my wife? Screw her! I'll just flush my marriage and run off with this woman I've secretly crushed on for a few weeks."
I like the idea of August dipping the pages in the water to help everyone get something that was lost to them. I still don't trust him though.
I want to hear Ruby's story! She's in the background of everyone else's story, I want to finally hear hers.
Her episode is 2 away. The next one is Grumpy and hers is after that.
