It has been dead the last couple of days. Right now, I am "cleaning" but my DH left his computer on so I decided to take a bit of a break.
Anything new? Did you do anything cool this weekend? Or cooked something tasty?
I cant believe it is almost Monday. Yuck! I hate Sunday afternoons. I find them so depressing.
Re: Where is everyone?
I'm taking a break from rotating my clothes. Time to put away the maternity clothes and bring out (some) of the regular clothes. In on regard it feels good, in another regard it's completely depressing.
Our dinner was pretty tasty. Made a big pot of dal with yellow lentils; served with lemon wedges, cilantro, and hummus. Had a side of fresh green beans simmered in a tomato sauce with dill.
Uneventful weekend here.
However, one of my friends from college confirmed she's coming for a visit in late May. AND as a cool bonus, I found an insane deal on EasyJet, so she and I will head up to Nice for a mini-break! Should be fun.
Had a really nice weekend! The weather is great, we spent the day at a bbq yesterday and dinner at a friends place last night. Today we brought M to a park where he could ride his scooter.
I'm currently making beef stew. I hope it turns out good, it's my first time!
VABeach! If you end up in Cannes on your trip we should have a drink!
I've tried to answer this twice, but my internet keeps failing.
Basically I complained about Amazon and then mentioned the delicious pork loin dinner I made. Overall, a good weekend.
Spent the day walking around London. Got some raspberry frozen yogurt in Regent's Park and checked out the flowers--it's starting to look like spring! I really hope it sticks.
It's been a nice weekend--I didn't work at all and DH and I have been able to spend a lot of quality time together, which we really needed.
Yeah, in Germany if you go out to eat with people on your birthday, you pick up the check. What the...? ;-)
And happy (late? early?) birthday!
I was busy at home since Friday and didn't get to check in until last night but easier to post on computer than iphone.
Grocery shopping on Friday am with N - she wanted to "help" me with everything so had to hold things until she got bored of them. Then she fell asleep in the car on the way home - it's hard work grocery shopping!!
Went for a lovely walk by the sea Saturday morning all three of us (after dh went to the dentist - root canal!). Stopped for yummy hot chocolate. Was a beautiful spring morning! N fell asleep in the car on the way home... so we got to watch rugby uninterrupted for a couple of hours!
DH played golf yesterday so I brought N on a little adventure! We went to feed the ducks/swans in the local park and then we took a bus to the city centre and went to this lovely playground for the swings, which she loves. Bus home, nap (too short), cooking, cleaning, walk...
I'm late in the game... We had an uneventful week end here but the weather was so nice today that we enjoyed a relaxed walk and a few moving-related errands. When we got home we had dinner, then played Mario Party 8 and had a blast
