Priceline.com for Rental Cars?
Has anyone used Priceline.com to reserve a rental car through the name your price option? I just did it this morning and it priced my car for an insanely cheap rate. I didn't book it yet since I haven't ever used it before and didn't know how reliable or good this would be. Any tips or past experiences with Priceline and the name your price for rental cars is appreciated!! Do you find the company as soon as it is booked? Any catches or gimmicks?

Re: Priceline.com for Rental Cars?
Yes I have and I love it! I've used it both for short weekend trips and longer week long + trips. I've had a few week long trips to FL and paid roughly $250 with priceline for a midsize while I was getting quotes for $700+ regularly.
Also, in my experience with the name your own price option once you hit the buy it now button, you have booked it and are committed so I'm a bit confused when you say you got an insanely cheap rate yet you haven't booked it yet?
Good to know, thanks!!
jsugrin - I selected the name your price option, entered the price I wanted to pay per day & trip details, and it gave me a quote total with the taxes/fees. I did not yet enter in my information or credit card information.
