tmi, but looks like a zit on my eyelash line?

I had noticed this morning that my left eye was bothering. It felt like something was in my eye, so I had DH look at it, and when you look at the tip of my upper eyelash line, there is a small whitish bump. Kind of looks like a zit.

I don't put eye cream anywhere near there. I have no idea what it is.

Anyone have a clue? Could it be milia?

It's probably a sty. I got them all the time growing up. Mine were allergy related. They clear up like a pimple does (quickly and on their own).

Yeah, sounds like a sty. If you put a warm compress on your eye, that should help it come to a "head" and it might clear up faster.

I had something similar last year, it's probably blepheritis (spelling?). Went to the eye doc over it and he popped it - it hurt like a mother! Then he said to heat up a potato (yes, you read it right) to hold to my eye for like 5 minutes at a time b/c potatoes keep the heat longer than a cloth. It went away on it's own , after he popped it. Right now, I think I had another one starting again, so I wiped the eye with warm water and used some neosporin on it, it's just itchy - good luck! It is a pain!!

Just keep an eye on it - I used to get really bad ones growing up and had to use ointments to clear them up. I finally had one that had to be surgically removed and it took YEARS for my eyelashes to grow in normally again.

That said, I've never met anyone else who couldn't get rid of theirs with a compress. Figures.
