My daughter had a pair of cotton/poly blend leggings that have oil stains on them. I have no idea how they got there. They were washed and dried before i noticed. Is there ant common household product I can use to soak it out? If not no big deal. She'll grow out of them soon anyway.
Re: oil stain
Do you use liquid fabric softener?
That could be the cause. Run an empty load with a couple cups of distilled white vinegar to strip any residual softener out of the machine.
You can use distilled white vinegar in the rinse cycle instead of the liquid or sheets and your clothes will be super soft.
Zout, comes in a red bottle and at Target. I can almost always get dried oily stains out with it.
I can't believe the amount of oily stains that kids produce. I never had this problem before kids!
