Good morning!!

Hi all!

How was everyone's weekend?

I am just back late last night (stupid flight delayed) from a weekend in Prague. My friend and I had a fabulous and relaxing night but decided to go out dancing on our last night there... got in at 7am! As it turns out, I'm not too old to go clubbing all night... I'm just too old to then do anything at all the next day. Yesterday was challenging and I'm still feeling it this morning! It amused me to set my alarm this morning for the same time as I got home yesterday.

QODT: What's one of life's little pleasures for you?

Re: Good morning!!

  • Morning!

The weekend was ok. The IL?s came and I survived. Somehow. Pitt, your weekend sounds way more interesting than mine. And fun, too.

QOTD: A hut cuppa black tea with milk and sugar first thing in the morning. In a huge cup. That?s my favorite little ritual/pleasure to get the day started. And if I don?t have it, it?s just not the same. Switch out the tea for something else othe than black tea and I feel like I?m being robbed.

  • Good morning!

I'm not sure where the weekend went.  But, one of my best friends was here visiting for a few hours yesterday.  Pitt, you weekend definitely sounds more exciting than mine!

QOTD:  Well, right now, I would say sleep.  But really, I always enjoy curling up with a book and a cup of hot chocolate.

  • Hello! Happy Monday :) I'm exhausted. I have been exhausted for about two or three weeks and it is really starting to get on my nerves. At first I thought it was a cold because I had a sore throat and some sinus issues, but all that cleared up quickly and I have been left without any energy for too long now. I don't know what to do. I eat well, get exercise, and just started taking vitamins to hopefully give me more energy.  It really sucks for H too because I tend to cry when I'm tired, so recently I have been a big blubbering mess. agh.

QOTD: hmmm...I really enjoy the smell in the air right before it snows.

  • Morning!

We had an earthquake last night, it was so creepy, it's the first time I felt one.It lasted a good 5 seconds. It's funny H was in the kitchen and the dishwasher was running, he though it was the dishwasher that was making everything move! I was reading in bed and the whole bed and wall behind me shook - at first I though it was our neighbours coming up the stairs or something. LOL

Taking M to the Dr this morning, he had a lot of blood in his stool yesterday (sorry TMI!) and I'm kind of freaking out about it! I really hope it is nothing.

    QOTD: Beef jerky.

  • Morning everyone! I had a lovely weekend--bright blue skies and comparatively rather warm (nearly 60 degrees F). Saturday I cleaned the flat with the windows wide open, did a walk with DH, and made dinner. Sunday, DH and I went on a four hour wander around London, ate lunch a park, wandered near our old neighborhood, and spent about an hour in Regent's Park looking at flowers and eating some frozen yogurt--delicious.

QOTD: I'm pretty tempted by the cup of tea thing, but I'll go with making a fire. There's something about the warmth and the crackle and the aroma that relaxes me completely. Reading by the fire with a cup of tea--well, now that's just about a perfect day to me.

Another simple pleasure for me is just taking a walk in nature.

  • My weekend was ok. I would've also loved your weekend.

QOTD: A nice shower. I love my shower here and it makes it hard when I have to go somewhere that has an inferior shower - which is most other places.

  • Morning!  Our weekend was full of mundane things like grocery shopping, hanging out at home, and babysitting for a co-worker's 3 year old daughter.  She was absolutely adorable though!

QOTD:  Reading or crocheting...I love both!

  • Hi, I'm logging on as it's a week off from college. Yay. But I have a lot of projects, essays, presentations etc.

QOTD: Chocolate and coffee are regular pleasures in my life. ooh, and puppy hugs.

  • Yuck! I hate Mondays.

I have work and German class tonight. I really dont like my Germa classes but I really want to learn the language.

    QOTD: Hot chocolate

  • I didn't answer!

I love the smell of coffee. My weekend ritual involves spending as long as possible sipping a cup of coffee and watching ridiculous TV or reading a silly book.

  • Morning!  We had an okay weekend, just a lot of drama and tears over our passport issue with the UK Border Agency.

QOTD:  I also love the smell and coffee and fresh baked bread.  Yum!

  • Afternoon! My weekend was great! We went hiking with new frienss who also have a baby and the weather was incredible! However, today I am fried because DD slept horribly last night and has been cranky all day. QOTD: I love a glass of wine and some chocolate.

  • Good morning (for me, evening for most of you)!

We had a good weekend, albeit pretty laid back--a jazz concert and movie night on Friday, catching up on lots of little projects and a walk on Saturday, and a ridiculously long, but very much enjoyed nap and running errands on Sunday.

QOTD: going for a walk/getting some quality time in with friends and loved ones (and ice cream)
