Anyone from Perryville? Didn't find anything in Bel Air :(
Dh and I went rental hunting in Bel Air and Abingdon yesterday. Holy Hot Market. We saw 5 places and most had multiple rental offers going already. Or they were run down, super teeny or had a sex offender next door (true story and of a minor no less so not happening). We did find a single family home to rent but it's high price wise and we would rather aim for lower so we can put a strong downpayment down next year when we buy. Thoughts? We need good schools?
Re: Anyone from Perryville? Didn't find anything in Bel Air :(
There's an abundance of housing available in the Bel Air/Aberdeen/Abingdon area, so I don't think prices are elevated due to excessive demand. Prices are actually pretty low, from my perspective, which is based upon living in the area for 5 years.
I can't help with Perryville, as I'm not familiar with the area at all. We're in Aberdeen (which is generally considered less appealing than Abingdon or Bel Air, but we're on the line and our specific area is a great one - safe, not run down, great schools) and I can highly recommend it, but it sounds like it may not be right for you.
Best of luck! It's so hard to hunt and find the area that best fits your needs!
