Who watched the Oscars?
I am SO happy "The Artist" came away with so many awards. We saw it last weekend and it was awesome - you should all check it out if it's still playing near you! What a refreshing, and totally entertaining, film.
I hate Angelina. Stacey Kiebler looked like a Barbie - she's gorgeous. The cast of Bridesmaids looked great. Octavia from the Help looked perfect. There were lots of great looks last night.
The "banter" and all the little stupid clips in between awards were a little too much, that show could have been an hour shorter without them. Billy Crystal was great, as usual.

I watched it, and honestly thought it was really boring, except for Billy Crystal. Maybe it's because I don't go to the movies much. I am tired of all the self-congratulatory/we work so hard/movies are so important stuff. I really just want to see the dresses!
I did hear The Artist was very good so I'm glad it won.
I watched a little bit of it. I saw the bit with Angelina and was horrified. What kind of image is she portraying to her children? I really hope she gets help soon. I also saw the J. Lo oopsie. When I looked at the screen I was like "no it can't be" but then heard this morning that it was!
I haven't seen The Artist so I'll be sure to check it out when we can!

I was flipping forth between the awards and Holmes on Holmes and Holmes Inspection (I had to keep DH around!).
I thought they were pretty good. Billy Crystal is always a great host, and some of the presenters had funny sections. I looooved the Bridesmaids girls, they always crack me up. SCORCESE!
I think a lot of people looked great, no one had anything that I hated. Emma Stone is adorable all the time, I know she has gotten mixed reviews on the big bow on her dress.
Any thoughts on the "Dictator" and Ryan Seacrest?
What happened with Angelina? I missed that! And J-Lo? Oh man I missed a lot.
I, too, only really care about the dresses. I loved Viola Davis's green dress A LOT. And yeah, Emma Stone can do no wrong in my world...
Was it confirmed that JLo had a little nip slip?? I thought so!!!
I watched a good bit of it, I totally missed the nip slip and I'm confused on the Angelina thing...was it when she presented?
I thought Billy Crystal was good, I loved the opening montage.
I missed the Bridesmaids bit but I can probably YouTube it. I really need to see that movie.
I had honestly never heard of The Artist before last night but I totally want to watch it now!

Ditto! A lot of the presenters were boring or corny, as usual, but Billy Crystal and the Bridesmaid girls were good!
In terms of fashion: I really liked Emma Stone (even the bow - but she can only pull it off because she is so tall), Octavia Spencer, Natalie Portman (dress, not hair), Cameron Diaz (again, dress, not hair), Michelle Williams (especially her hair and makeup), and Christian Bale (SO hot!).

It was soooooo a nip slip. I looked at DH and said "IS THAT A LITTLE BIT OF HER NIPPLE?", he calmly looked up from his Ipad, looked at the TV, said "ummm Yup." and went back to playing his game.
