My two favorite moments were when Kristen Wiig and Maya Rudolph were presenting, and when one of the winners (for writing I think) made fun of Angelina Jolie. That was hella ballsy since she was standing right there.
Speaking of Angelina, her appearance made me incredibly uncomfortable. It was painful to watch her. There's naturally slender and then there's unhealthy, and she was clearly the latter. Add her ridiculous stance on stage, and I found myself feeling sorry for her.
This is my siggy.
Re: Let's talk Oscars
It was Jim Rash that made fun of Angelina Jolie - he plays the Dean on Community, if you watch that show. I love him.
I also thought Octavia Spencer was adorable.

We miss you and love you always, little firecrackers!
I know! I couldn't decide if she was doing it for Brad's benefit or if she thought it was some daringly sexy thing to do. Either way, I cringed in embarrassment for her.
DH didn't recognize her. He said, Where are the lips? Ummm... Sweetie, the lips are the only things that are still there. I hate Brad's long hair, too.
And that's all I saw because we had to watch Walking Dead.
Melissa McCarthy looked amazing and although I was hoping she'd win the Oscar, Octavia Spencer definitely deserved it.
Emma Stone should NOT wear bright red. Redhead rule #1, people!
I was hoping Jonah Hill would win because... how cool would that have been?! But when I realized Christopher Plummer was like 900 years old and this was his first Oscar... have at it, buddy boy! Jonah's got plenty of time to win another one.

I didn't like Emma's Stone's dress either. Why do her eyes disappear when she wears fancy clothes? Her pictures from those things never turn out great, poor girl.
eta- I like the dress on its own, but not on her. She wasn't tall enough or something to pull off that big-ass bow.
I thought Emma Stone's dress looked a lot like one someone else wore before and then when I googled I saw a lot of people comparing it to Nicole Kidman. They are kinda similar but I think Nicole's looked better. Emma's clashed with her hair and the pleats weren't very flattering.

I thought Octavia Spencer's dress was really pretty. I also liked Michelle Williams' dress.

I thought Gwyneth Paltrow was the best dressed. I liked Cameron Diaz's dress too.
People made a fuss over Clooney's GF's dress, but other than the color, I didn't care for it.
I liked all three of these. I think the GF's overall look was nice. The dress (I honestly don't remember anything other than the color), the hair... she just looked good and that's what I remember.
Billy is starting to look a little plastic to me. How old is he? I fear a Bruce Jenner in his future.
If I hear one more time how good Octavia Spencer looked DOT DOT DOT FOR A FULL FIGURED WOMAN I'm going to punch a puppy.
Stacy Kiebler (Clooney's GF) looked gorgeous. One of the morning shows was saying she actually looked like Oscar, completely gold.
I thought Emma Stone pulled off the red dress beautifully - I don't believe in "no red on redheads".
Muddled, I thought the same thing about Billy - he's had a lot of work done and it's looking scary around his jawline.
I thought Ferrell and Zach Galifinakis were pretty funny with the cymbals. I cringed when Rash mocked Angie - she is totally going to smite him!
Some shades of reds and some shades of redheads work well together. This was not the case. Her hair and that dress totally clashed. And I think the bow on the shoulder made it more noticeable because the fabric was right up near her hair- so you could really easily tell that the shades clashed with each other.

Well holleeee shiit, BBE came out to play!
I liked Jessica Chastain's dress too. I was so torn over Viola's and Michelle's dresses. I loved the color of both of them, but each had an element I didn't like - the neckline on Viola's and the apron on Michelle's.
I also liked Octavia's dress, but then I'm partial to sparkly silver dresses. I covet almost every one that I see.
GAH, nest ate my reply.
Gary Oldman - adore
Viola Davis's makeup, hair and skin looked AMAZING. She's awesome
Michelle Williams
Penelope Cruz - loved her dress, did not love her hair and makeup
Glenn Close was pretty smokin', too.
Yes, I did!
And Viola's neckline was TERRIBLE.
