What service provider do you have?
How much do you pay per month?
What do you hate about it?

Re: Cell phone poll
Verizon
$176 p/mo for 3 lines (2 lines have a data package)
I hate the cost and the fact that all of our phone either randomly shut off or lock up and Verizon said that's normal for smart phones.
Verizon
$90 month
Their customer service has gone down the tubes. I don't have much to complain about since my little sister finally separated her line so I'm not paying for that anymore.
AT&T
$136/mo for 2 iPhones with the 2 GB data plan
I just hate my signal in my apartment, but I don't remember it being great with Verizon either. Definitely way better than Verizon was on the customer service front.
Virgin Mobile
$25/mo for 300 minutes, unlimited text, and unlimited data
There is no free mobile to mobile or evening/weekend minutes, but I don't call people often. I can always buy more minutes if I run out, but I haven't ran out before. I have a landline, so it hasn't been an issue. The only thing I actually hate is that I can't get the iPhone. My Android is still a decent smartphone, so it's not that big of an issue especially considering the service is so cheap.
Verizon.
I have no idea.
I've always had Verizon and have always been pleased.

Boost Mobile. Yeah, I know.
$45, 46.50 or something with tax, for unlimited talk, text, web & data. 2 months and I'm down to $40, holla.
The big downside is that I had to buy my phone outright (there's no 'sign up for 2 years and get a free iphone!' type deal). Also, Boost only works on Nextel/Sprint towers, so although I get fine reception where I live in the suburbs of a metro area, when I go visit my parents I get like, one bar and have to go into the upstairs bedroom and hang out a window to call out.
Sprint
What we pay is moot because we're on an employee plan.
The service in our home, even w/ an Airave (basically a mini cell tower!) in our home, we've sometimes had questionable service - and DH HAS to have service to his phone for his job.

I have been checking out Virgin. Now that plan is $35, but I am considering it. No issues with super slowness or dropped calls or anything?
I am also considering the t-mobile no contract deal.
I also have Virgin Mobile and pay $37 a month (w/ taxes) for unlimited text/data and 300 minutes. I don't talk much so it's perfect. Sometimes the reception is crappy and the downside was buying the phone, but I got mine for a Christmas present. I'm pretty happy with no contract and $37 a month.
I have the HTC Wildfire, I like it because it's small and has all the benefits of a smartphone. FI has a bigger one (I think a motorola) that he really likes, but he's all into the apps and I'm not really into that stuff. I tried, but I just don't have enough patience to read stuff from my phone.
Thanks. Another question, if you don't mind.
If you get a new phone, do you have to change phone numbers?
AT&T
$125 for 2 lines (inc data packages for two iPhones)
Customer service sucks, and the coverage isn't that great.
Verizon
$95/month - 1 line, 900 minutes, unlimited text/data (I have a corporate discount)
I hate that my phone is showing its age, but I have another few months to wait for an upgrade. That's my only beef.
I kept my number from Verizon. It was a crummy process of switching though. VM said they would disconnect my Verizon number and then port it to VM over the course of 24-48 hours. This was like a day or two before Christmas. My number was disconnected right away, but I had to call VM about 5 times to get them to port the number over. I didn't want to wait 24-48 hours. They did port it over the next day and it worked fine, but the process was kind of a pain.

I forgot about things like corporate discounts... hmmm...
Don't you worry, little miss. We are planning a big old intervention for you.
But it has nothing to do with phone plans.
We're on our second Airwave for my H's phone. His service still blows. I sent him a few texts the other night, he didn't get them til 4 hours later. Good it was mostly, "I'm on my way home" and not, "Help! I'm stuck in a ditch."
Things are constantly getting lost in what we call Sprintland. In September, his work will let him switch to Verizon. Woot!
Verizon
It use to be $90 but we added another data plan (I finally got a smart phone) and H now gets a 16% discount through his work.
Nothing. In our area it gets way better service than AT&T (no dropped calls- yay!). The customer service is good. I guess I wish it was cheaper.
1. Verizon
2. $158ish for two phones (both smartphones with data plans)
3. Nothing. We get great service, and I love my iPhone. I do kind of hate that my H is still on my cell phone plan, but at some point, he will not be anymore, and then I believe that my price will drop to $100ish per month.
