Well we have a lot of catching up to since we weren't able to get on here most of Friday! How was everyone's weekend? I am off today and just got the call for the carpet cleaner saying he's on the way :-) I think it's funny I'm so excited to have this done! I don't think it's been done since the carpet was installed like 20 years ago so it's well needed.

Re: Happy Monday!
I had a great weekend!
Friday night I got to see our very own Lisa!!! I met her and Brenna for a drink in Red Bank! (Hope you enjoyed the rest of your NJ weekend)
Saturday, I caught up on cleaning the house, shopping, etc etc. Me and hubby had dinner and went to the mall for a little bit.
Sunday, we went to the gym and then to my aunt and uncle's house for dinner. My uncle turned 70 so we had the whole family together for dinner and cake. There were about 35 of us in a basement (that's Italian style). Fun times LOL
FUNNY STORY!! Yesterday, at the gym, this juice head was hogging the last available treadmill. He was "interval training" so he threw his towel over one of the machines to "hold it". Um, no, not on a Sunday morning when it's packed. Our gym is pretty small, there are only about 6 treadmills and 4 ellipticals. DH talked to the manager and was like "listen, we members too, and he can't hold that machine". The manager agreed. So DH took the towel off and proceeded to use the treadmill. The guy came over looking for a fight, and DH told him off. LOL interesting day to say the least. That'll teach that muscle head to wait his turn and have some gym manners!!!!!
@Allison & Lisa: So glad that you were able to meet up!!
My weekend was busy but good.
Friday we went to look at a daycare. The place and people were really nice. Hoping to look at a few more but our options are pretty limited!
Saturday was crazy busy! We drove to get new phones from DH's friend at Verizon but found out that the county we live in has a non-compete clause and therefore we would have to change our numbers in order to get service so that was a wasted trip. Then we stopped at a few thrift shops, took Sadie to a neighbor's house for a visit (we will likely be dropping her off there when we go tot he hopsital for baby), went to Best Buy to get new phones through AT&T! I got a smartphone and am completely lost! Then we came home and made supper and I passed out on the couch around 7!
Sunday we went to church, ran a few errands, and came home and went to town with our to-do list. I was going going all day and DH was getting upset at me...led to an argument and blah blah blah.
Anywho, I felt very accomplished yesterday!

My weekend was AMAZING!! Saturday was DH's bday. All he wanted to do was set up camp at our local beer garden all day, so we got there at 1:30. Friends were coming by all day and I saw a bunch of people I haven't seen in a while. I finally bailed around 6 PM since my back was hurting from sitting on a bench all day. But, DH stayed there for 12 hours straight! He didn't get home until almost 2 in the morning. And I was awake at that time since my upstairs neighbors apparently decided to come home from the bars and have a party at 1:30 in the morning for a couple hours.
As for Sunday... DH had to be up at 7:30 to do his company's daily newsletter. Usually he just goes back to sleep when he's done with it, but this week he couldn't since we had to leave early to go to my baby shower!!! We were both exhausted driving there (about an hour away) and got there a little late. But, it was so much fun and my friend who planned it did a great job. The food and cake were amazing and we got some great stuff.
By the time we got home, we both just wanted to pass out! I look forward to relaxing this week.
It was a fairly quiet weekend at our house. SD was with her mom. On Saturday I tried to run a quick errand & pickup a bag that I had embrodered (sp?) for a friend only to find that the shop was closed. That afternoon DH & I went to a movie & dinner with another couple that we've recently become fiends with & had a great time. The guys went to see Act of Valor (they said it was great) and Connie & I went to see The Vow. It was pretty good.
Sunday we skipped church & at about 2:00 my Mom came by & we went to Columbia, SC to witness the ordaination of a friend of mine. It was great to see him & his wife & share in such a special time in their lives. I came home that night & DH had made chili so I settled in on the couch with a big bowl & relaxed.
This weekend was good, DH's parents and grandfather came to stay with us. We didn't do much of anything because they are more the sit and chat and hang around type people. His grandfather hadn't seen the house yet so I am glad that he got to come down from Mass to see it!
Yesterday they left and we went over to my parents to watch the Daytona 500. It got rained out until today, but it was nice to catch up with them and have dinner and hang out. I brought my doppler over so that I could have my mom hear the baby's heartbeat and she thought it was so great!
Work this week is going to be chaos, so I might not get on much. I will check in when I can! xoxo!
Happy Monday!!!
Awesome that you two were able to meet up :-))
Had a fairly low key weekend, filled with the usual goodies (mani/pedi/lunch with Mom, cooking and some house stuff on Sunday), but these are some of my favorite kind of days!!
Wishing everyone a wonderful week ahead!!
Yes Friday Allison was kind enough to come out to meet up with Brenna and I! It was a lot of fun- we had sushi (AMAZING) and wine, and Allison joined for wine afterwards. We were out pretty late! Brenna and I were both surprised at how late it was so we were definitely having a good time.
Saturday we hung out and watched Friends, then she went to her fiancee's parents to have dinner with his family and I left and scoped out a hotel on the way home for Brenna and I to stay at for my girls weekend with her in May. I took it easy Sat night after I got home about 7ish
Sunday I had breakfast with my dad, grandma and my bro, SIL and nephew who left for Australia :-( My dad took them to the airport about 1pm, and I hung out with my grandma while he was out. We had a nice time chatting and my dad joined us after he got back for a little bit. My dad picked one of these stuffed animal pets up for my niece (initially for her birthday in August but he loved it so much he couldn't wait to send it) It was SO hilarious- if you go to a Cracker Barrel see if they have them b/c thats where he got them. We were all cracking up as he was demonstrating it!
I took the day off and had my carpets cleaned (Yay!! they look so great!) and had lunch w/my dad. They're still not dry though after 4+ hrs which is a bummer so I picked up a fan from my work place to help dry them out faster. I'd like to get my house back in order tonight!

My weekend was great!!!
Friday night we had Girl's Night at my house....we all got a little tipsy and had an awesome time.
Saturday I got up and went to the gym and weighed in (down 16 lbs!). I vegged out for the rest of the day and made dinner for DH and I.
Sunday I worked out at home, then we went to dinner at my parents for my birthday with cake and presents. We ended up looking through a bunch of old pictures and talking about when my brother and I were babies.
I was off today as well (my birthday day off, even though my bday isn't till tomorrow) and went to Trader Joes with my best friend...love that place!!

My weekend was good.
Friday night DH and I celebrated Valentine's day by going to see West Side Story. The show was good, I just didn't care for the fact that parts of it were in Spanish.
Saturday we did some cleaning and laundry. That night we went to our first ever trivia-night. Our team won 2nd place, so that was fun.
Sunday we slept in. I spent the afternoon with my besties at a Woking Women's Survival Show. It's called the "ultimate girls day out" and it was fun. I made dinner for DH & I and then we just chilled.
