WWMND?
I found $100.........in the pocket of my duffle bag. I know that I did not put it there and I'm shocked I didn't notice it this weekend since I keep my shampoo and stuff in that pocket. It had to have been someone I know but I'm guessing they wanted to do it without my knowledge. Would you ask around and try and figure out who it was(to thank them or give it back) or would you just count it as a blessing? I'm torn.

Maybe ask around and see if someone lost it.
But if they gave it to you, just accept it and thank them for being so nice.
They didn't want you to know. They won't speak up. If you think it's coworker, order lunch for everyone. If its friends, invite a couple to dinner and buy.
I think treating everyone to lunch would defeat the givers purpose.
I'd text whomever helped you paint and say "If you gave me the gift thank you!" if it wasn't them and they ask just tell them you thought they did it.
I highly doubt anyone "lost" a hundred bucks in your duffle bag.

My husband says he lost $100 and he may have dropped it in my bag accidentally. Riiiiiight. Lol.
Oh of course. We all just have $100 dollar bills lying around waiting to get lost in people's stuff. Do you use the pocket often? Is it even remotely possible that it's been in there longer than you think?
It's pretty unlikely. Especially since I used it a ton this weekend. That's not to say that it couldn't have been hiding under something and I just got to it.
That was my plan. I bought dinner for me and my friend I'm staying with last night. I'll probably buy a random stranger lunch today.
