Finally!
It's only a long-term temp position, but I am hoping it will be my foot in the door as it were. It's with a good company and my supervisor is pretty nice. I get finger printed later this week. I start Monday

Baby S&H is doing great (he's doing his "PAY ATTENTION TO ME DAMMIT!" dance in the pack n play behind me right now). He's got 8 teeth (they all decided to come in after he got the cast) and is eating small bits of big people food at dinner time. The cast doesn't seem to bother him at all anymore, we have a list of things we want the doctor work on with cast #2--if he can do them the next cast will be leagues better than this one. He hasn't lost his humor or joy, he's easily the happiest of the three kids. His brother begged him for help the other night at bedtime, I slung him over my shoulder to carry him off to bed and he reached out to T and shouted "Baby help me!". LOL.
That is fantastic, congrats! I know you have been waiting a while to find something.

Doglove, I'm doing all right. I am relieved to finally have found a job, even if it's just a temporary position. I'm a little nervous as I have really gotten used to being a SAHM but our current financial situation requires me to be out earning money. My IL's are closing on the sale of their house tomorrow and will be closing on the purchase of their new house up here on Thursday, so the timing is perfect (they're taking over childcare duties). It will take some getting used to, but I'll make it :-)
I'm not sure how the dog will handle it though, he's a bit of a sensitive soul and has gotten used to me being home with the kids.
Imoan, I plan on treating myself to a glass of wine from our stash this weekend, that's is all our budget will allow right now.
