Saturday was a long day. We drove to Lansing, where I picked up my wedding dress. It feels almost perfect without any alterations yet, and was long enough (my big fear). I am very happy and relieved, all at the same time.
From there we went to Grand Rapids. Had burritos at the Beltline Bar (yummy!) (and I think it was Latte that asked if they still do the fried ice cream...they do, we just didn't partake.) From there we went and did cake tasting, and OMG, had like the yummiest chocolate and vanilla cake I think I've ever had. So excited about that! And the price is fantastic! She said she would hold my date for a couple weeks while I thought about it, and I just whipped out my checkbook and wrote her a deposit. Check! (Shannon, I made sure she was going to deliver it TO the reception. lol)
So good to hear they will haha!!
That's great about your dress being close to perfect and finding an awesome cake sounds like you had a productive weekend.
BTW I am finally getting my hair colored and went with your suggestion for Aqua Spa. I will let you know how it goes.

I am sure things will go well at Aqua. (I think I said this before, but I use Kristen and love her.) Just a head's up, you can pay with your cc/debit card, but you can't tip with it. I always write a check, made out to "cash", because I rarely ever have actual cash on me.
This is VERY good to know because I never have cash or my checkbook.
