It was a blast! Pics are up on facebook, so go check them out!
We did a woodland animal theme, based off of "grey squirrel" which is her favorite song. Andy made stuffed mushrooms, pulled pork spring rolls (delish), rolled sandwiches, pb&j's (in the shapes of squirrels, hedgehogs and snails), fruit tray, veggie tray, smoked nuts, ants on a log, sweet tea, lemonade, black forest cake, strawberry shortcake and mini mushroom cupcakes. Gracie had her own special cake too
We also had beer and Andy made bushwakers for the adults at the end for the few that stayed longer. We had SO much food!
We also set up our photobooth for everyone and they had a blast! I made woodland creature masks for all the kids and they had tons of fun wearing those around. We also had the kids make a bird seed feeder craft and I made a ribbon pull pinata which worked like a charm!
It went great! The only thing that didn't get done was the special bday dress I wanted to make her. Gratia got really sick the couple days before which really cut down the time I had to get things accomplished. Oh well..... I'll make it for when we take her 12 month pictures!
Wish all you could have come!! ![]()
