Flameful confessions
Remember the friend who lost her bf/FI in a car accident last summer? Well despite everyone's efforts to get her help, she's still not doing well. I even contacted a local hospital and found her someone who would do free bereavment sessions. She never called them.
Now she's moving into a house that her parents own that's next door to my grandma. My grandma isn't doing well and the last thing she needs is my friend who admittedly drives home drunk after partying all night living next to her. This is stressing me out big time.

It would stress me out to no end! I'm sorry you are going through this. Hopefully your friend snaps out of it and gets the help she needs.
My flameful: I have deleted pretty much all of you from my FB page. It's nothing you all did wrong. I just really need to take a step back.
I haven't been to the gyn in so long that I'm all nervous about my appointment tomorrow. I don't want to feel all awkward about not having a cervix, uterus, or ovaries and that's how they make me feel most of the time. But I need to know if my hormone levels and stuff are ok. But that's my flameful: it's been a couple of years since seeing the gyn.
I don't blame you. I have considered that too.
My confession: I worked from home this morning, which consisted of sleeping in, checking my email a few times, then getting my run in before I left for a press conference. I have been working late a lot though, so I have earned it.
No flames from me. I hope she gets help soon.

Otter, I didn't know all those details about your condition. I wouldn't feel awkward, they are your health care providers and should understand your body.
Mine: I have not been 100% focused on my office job lately. I have been distracted, but it is all good. My work gets done, but I am sort of in "work robot" mode.
Yeah...it's kind of crazy. The problem is that a lot of doctors aren't familiar with my condition and then they aren't sure about treatment or whatever. These doctors are supposed to be very good and have experience with my condition, so I'm hoping that's true.

Hmm.. Dunno if flameful or not, but I reported Verizon to the Better Business Bureau a week or so ago before shiit really hit the fan. I wanted to punch the lady at the store. Sure, I said the F word ONCE and she was like "Ma'am I can kick you out for language like that. There are other customers in the store and I am supposed to be treated nice and do not deserve that language". I got up, told her "I deserve to be treated like a customer and not an ignorant piece of shiit" and walked out. I wanted to punch her.
I've been having issues with my phone and they keep sending me "Certified Replacement" phones. The guy on tech support talked to me like I was a moron and then asked me what he wanted me to do and I told him to send me a phone that is NOT a Certified Replacement and he said no. I told him he was wasting my time and he hung up on me. I hate Verizon.

I started taking diet pills this week. Our neighbor is VP of a company whose products you can buy at GNC, and he gave me a bottle of some pills that won't even be available at GNC until March 1st. They suppress my appetite, but not enough that I don't eat, I just can't eat big portions, and they make me sweat and get chills intermittently. I think I'll finish the bottle.
ETA: Also, I stalked our favorite Cycle Psycho's blog for workout music last week and have seriously been digging my new playlist while on the elliptical. Thanks, Ang! I still haven't tried the RPM class yet.
And, I was a little hurt that VXS defriended me at first, but after talking to her about it I am over it.
You weren't the only one who was hurt over it. I have shed many tears over it and I know other girls have too.

Sorry so late, I had a doctor's appointment. It's mostly that I feel like I stifle some aspects, like my religion, and it brings out negativity in me. I'm trying not to be so negative, and this is such a good place to complain, that is hard.
My flameful:
DH has been out of town for training this week, and I've enjoyed it! This is kind of a good thing for me and makes me happy in a way. I love spending time with him but sometimes I worry that I'm becoming too dependent since we live here and I don't know many people. However, this week I've gotten out and done more things alone rather than waiting for him to get home, cooking dinner, or washing his damn dishes. lol. I've been focusing on myself and going places like I used to. I still look forward to him coming home, but it's been nice to have some alone time.
It's funny you said this. I was just telling my friend last night that I wish my H would go OOT for a class or something. I miss having my independence and with the whole 1 car issue, I have to rely on him to be able to go anywhere.
Luckily H and my dad are going to look at cars this weekend, so we're finally making progress!
Aw, I can definitely see how having only one car could take a toll on your independence. Yay for the car shopping though! That's great news that you're one step closer. I hope you all find something soon!
I agree with MM here based upon what you wrote, SS. How was she not treating you like a customer? It would be one thing if she was swearing at you. Was she not giving you what you wanted (a brand new free phone)? I feel like there is more to this.
