How's everybody's weight loss/exercise going?
I thought I had lost a negligible amount this week, but it turns out I lost 1 1/2 pounds. I hit my weight loss goal for the month! I'm feeling like I'm in a pretty good groove right now.
I have a 5k run coming up on St. Patty's weekend, and I'm interested to see how I manage it. I'm still not at a point where I can run the whole 3 miles without taking a couple walking breaks, but my regular route doesn't involve any real elevation changes and the race route does.

I went to the gym Saturday and Sunday, but I wanted to take today off so that I could mentally prepare myself for waking up at 4 am tomorrow.
I'm actually quite happy that I was able to get on the eliptical and go for 30 minutes at a pretty good clip. I don't think my cardio abilities have suffered too badly over the past 3/4 years. Flexibility and ab strength on the other hand...yeah. I'm in some pain today.
I'm down another 2lbs, so 4 total. I can definitely see that even if I'm not dropping lbs like flies, I'm toning up pretty nicely.
I'm currently willing it not to rain so that I can jog to boxing. Otherwise I don't get to go today and I'll be super sad. I made it through 6 days of working out last week. 5 days either boxing/kickboxing (three with runs either to/from or later in the day) and 1 day of a long run through the park. I'm totally getting back in the swing of things.

My eating has gone to hell lately. Oops. I seem to be maintaining on weight, though theoretically is like to lose about 10 lbs more.
I only went to the gym twice last week, but I did run a little over 10 miles on Tuesday. It was rough and I'm nervous about my upcoming half marathon. I feel like this week's schedule will be off too since I'm taking tomorrow afternoon off to go to a rally.
I logged in to WW for the first time in forever today. I'm taking a stand against unhealthy eating. I cooked a lot of good stuff for the week last night, too.
For now I can only walk, so I've been trying to do that regularly. The eating and drinking is where I could use some help.
I'm not ready to step on the scale. It's really a scary proposition for me.
11/11/11 = 5 years. Woah!
I had a pretty good week. My WI is on Friday, and I lost 3 lbs. Most of that was probably water weight, though, as I had been eating for crap. Last week I decided to get back on the track wagon, and it was good

This Saturday I played Ultimate Frisbee again for the first time in forever. I burned ~730 calories after playing for under 1.5 hrs. Reminded me of why I started playing in the first place.
Also, I finally tried spaghetti squash and am in looooove

Same one. This year I also signed up to do the 5K the night before, but I fully intend on walking that. What can I say? I'm a medal whore.
I'm doing the same as last year the same weekend one again too.
I also signed up for one the weekend of St Patrick's day too. That was probably a poor choice on my end.
Well when I'm biitching about my 8 miles on St. Patty's Day, you can tell me to shut up because you just did 13!
I'm down another 2.8. Probably from not eating much of anything all last week (I didn't even bother tracking). So I'm at 15.8 total. It's coming off FAST, much quicker than before. I assume I'll hit a wall at seem point, but I'll take what I can get for now.
I did just try on a pair of old jeans one size smaller than what I've been wearing, and they fit! That was exciting!

It's an uphill battle. the hill seems to be made of shale.
the kids are both sick and getting up multiple times a night which results in me be exausted and unmotivated to work out. it also leaves me craving chocolate.
