Trying something new on the dating front!
I think I've had enough of the online crazies at least for a little bit. I signed up for "It's Just Lunch", my first date is next Thursday!! So excited!
Re: Trying something new on the dating front!
Still going to keep my profile up until this weekend so I'm sure I'll have a couple new good stories... I have a date with a Balwin brother look a like pilot on Saturday so I don't want to take my profile down in case he goes to look at my pictures or something before our date. I'm a little hesitant about dating a pilot but I figured I'd give him a chance (mostly b/c he is a hottie! lol You never know)
I also have an ex-pro wrestler that I've been talking to ... I hope he doesnt end up being a cross dresser.
It is very expensive... I am pretty sure it varies by city and right now they are running a 4 month special in some markets that I think is a pretty reasonable price. If you want to know the specific amounts I can PM it to you.
It's possible that I live in the sticks....what's "It's Just Lunch"?
(Yes, I'm aware I could google it, but feeling lazy!)
I've never done it, but have been interested in it; it's a matchmaking service and they arrange a date for you. It's either lunch or happy hour or something else low key. You don't communicate with your date until you arrive at the pre-arranged place of the matchmaker's choosing. The ultimate blind date, in other words.
It sounds interesting although I live in such a rural area it probably doesn't exist. I think a lot of the online dating troubles come from the build up to the date and then the let down. Even if you barely communicate with the person you still have SOME sort of pre-conceived notion about them. You can't help it, human nature. I think if it was an actual BLIND date there wouldn't be so much of a let down.
I totally agree with this...
I've heard about this, but have never known anyone that has done it. I'm SO curious to know how it goes!
I think it's a great idea BK! I wonder if they have it near me. At least you're guaranteed (almost) that these guys have jobs and drivers licenses!
Also, I dated a pilot before. He had a bit of a God complex but I couldn't tell if that was because he makes planes fly or because he was super short. Have fun and report back! Love the new blog design by the way!
