I saw your car post in the gas thread. Is one of the cars you're looking at a Lexus IS? I kind of remember this from a thread we had awhile back. If so, I have it, and I've actually found it to get really decent milage. I get 27mpg around town and at least 30mpg highway. The only crap part is the premium gas. But Lexus swears to me I could do regular if I supplemented with premium every so often...

It sure is and that's good to hear about gas! The website says 22/27 for city and highway so I wondered how it would average out by the time we paid for premium as well.
It's not bad at all but I originally started my car search looking at hybrids. In comparison I could be doing better, but ya know
I told the H if we could just spring for the Lexus GS hybrid it would solve all of our problems lol
Yeah, it definitely does get better mileage with the premium. I'm not sure what it would get on regular...maybe I'll find out soon enough

LOL! Wouldn't it? The GS (especially the new one) is a sweet car.
I looked at hybrids but I just like a good V6 way too much!
