I just read your post from the other day about the cruise!  It is too bad that we are going different weeks...  My DH and I do not have any kids and we are going with another couple, so it is really going to be a great trip for us!  I'm so excited!

We are definitely doing the Sting Ray City tour in Grand Caymen!  We have heard amazing things about the trip.  In Jamaica, we will probably go to see the Dunn River Falls.  We have heard that it is best to stick with a resort or excursion in Jamaica.  We will have to figure it out though! Smile

  • awww I know!!! would have totally been great! Its ok- for once this is our first official family vaca with no other friends- so Im excited- also at night they have babysitting time from 10 pm to 3 am- so the hubbs and I can still get some us time.

Yes I seen the sting ray thing! sounds great!

Oh really? why do they say that about jamaica? safety concerns?? good to know- thank you!

  • Yeah, this is the first vacay that DH and I are taking that was not dictated by some other event.  We are really looking forward to it!  That is exciting that you can get a baby sitter and have some time to yourself!

As for Jamaica, yes, the concern is safety.  We were told to stick with resorts or excursions because they usually have some form of security.  Basically they told us to stick with a group and not to go wandering around town alone.  But I'm a big wuss when it comes to that sort of stuff, so I will definitely try to stay as safe as possible.  I'm even debating not taking my wedding ring (I'll wear my band) so I don't risk losing it in the ocean or something like that.  But I don't know if that is taking it a bit too far! Smile
