I love my doggie

Between DH and me, I was the one more hesitant to get a dog, mostly because I like to just pick up and leave when I want.  I have to say, I am so glad we got our little pup.  It's so nice seeing his excitement when I come home from work and he loves to play.  I also love taking him on our little doggie play dates.

Re: I love my doggie

  • Glad you are loving Winston.  Wanting to get up and go is why we have cats instead of dogs, but I am sure one B (and any others) is older we'll end up with a dog.
  • I get the pick up and leave part. It's not a huge responsibility to own a dog but it's caused us to have to think when we make plans or go out of town and I think that's been a good practice for us since we tend to stay busy on the weekends.

There's nothing like coming home and seeing their excitement. I think I spend 5 minutes in baby voices asking him about his day when I come in the door lol

    Happiest place on Earth!

  • I've gotta say, my relationship with my "sister dog", (my dog growing up), and my "baby dog" (Obie) is soooo different. I never knew I could love a little furry monster this much.
