Help, dog died need suggestions
My best friend had to put her dog down today. She's a total mess, I was going to take a couple days and visit her since she lives 2 hours away, but I've been sick and she doesn't want to risk getting it.
I'd like to do something for her, but for the life of me I can't come up with anything other than flowers and that just doesn't seem like enough. My heart is breaking for her.
Re: Help, dog died need suggestions
I totally second this. I couldn't even imagine...but if someone did this for me, I'd love it.
Do you remember who the seller was?
I would make a donation to a shelter or rescue in the dog's honor, but that's just me.
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
I LOVE this idea.
How about this?

That's what I did when my friend had to put her pup down a couple weeks ago. She was very appreciative.
You could also help her purchase the urn for the dog if it was cremated. You can order them and there are ones you can put the dogs picture in a frame on the front.
The necklace idea is also a good one.
When my friends have to have a dog euthanized, I usually call their vet and pay for the service with a credit card, so they can just leave when it is over without standing at the desk to pay while sobbing. Just an idea for another time.
