Water leak

If you had a water leak how long did it take for your bill to level out?

Re: Water leak

  • ? The next billing cycle?

  • I would have thought that too but November (when the leak happened) and December was super high well over $100 and now its down by over half. I was wondering if anyone had their bill go out of whack when they had a leak?
  • Well, you're paying for the leaking water. I've never had a water bill over 45 dollars for two people. If you think there is something wrong with your billing, call the company,

  • I am not complaining. I figured we were paying for that water. I am so excited to pay our water knowing it is so cheap now
  • Did it never get fixed?

The bill should be normal the next month.

  • It was fixed about a week after we found out about it. We had only been here a month before it happened so we had only gotten one bill and it was kind of expensive but there was six people in the house and then the leak started so I had thought maybe it was supposed to be that much. When our bill came in last month I didn't understand how it was that cheap yesterday I decided to call the water company just to make sure the amount was right and the guy said it was right. I guess we were paying for the adjustment on the water
