Can we discuss latest bval blog?
Apparently even her therapist thinks that giving up and shutting herself in the house is a perfectly valid life choice for someone whose anxiety is so paralyzing, it's literally paralyzing.
Seriously, what therapist would recommend that to someone whose anxiety is so severe that they quit their low-stress part-time retail job? Or am I the one whose being seeing a terrible therapist? Should I get a new one who will tell me to quit my job?
And I know, I know, I should just ignore her, this is what she wants, etc. but dammit if someone wants to put their trainwreck on display for me, I'm gonna look.

Unless YOU start contributing something to keep this board from flat-lining on the regular, shut it! It's fun. We know it's insane and we know nothing is really surprising anymore and we know she's probably reveling in the attention... but until something better comes up to discuss... I'm going go to be talking about bval's crazytimes!

I highly doubt that she would ever remove her blog, she thrives on people reading her mess.
All behavioral therapy for anxiety is based on exposure (either rapid flooding or systematic desensitization). so no, a competent therapist would not tell her to avoid her anxiety triggers and shut herself in. That is literally the most counterproductive thing anyone with anxiety can do, and I am guessing she's on her way to full-blown agoraphobia. Have fun!
Also, she's pretty dumb for someone who thinks of herself as witty/intelligent. This is the FOURTH time I will explain my comment, but when I said her marriage is another example of why children shouldn't get married, it wasn't because she "randomly" (in her eyes) fell ill. He married her before he had a chance to know her as an adult person functioning in the real world. If you get married 46 seconds after junior prom, you don't get to see your life partner handle real life crises. Had he waited a few years, he would have seen that she would have dropped out of school because it was too tough, quit her research job because it was too tough, quit her part time joke job because it was too tough, and stopped walking because actually dealing with anxiety is too tough (all by the age of 23). Then he could have decided if that's the kind of life he wanted to live. Instead, he locked himself into a commitment with a child and is now stuck caring for an incompetent adult who doesnt view her incompetence as problematic. Probably not the life he imagined for himself.
I'm a competant therapist and I would tell her to shut herself in. This would be the only way that I could get her out of my office. I don't think there is a therapist that can deal with that level of craziness on their own. She needs to be in a hospital setting and I don't mean the type that will deal with her calcium induced MS.

I also find it amusing she's still hung up on what TIP thinks of her, and it's ML who's more fascinated by her trainwreckery than TIP.
I really think they need to wean her off ALL meds cold turkey in a medical in-patient setting. Then re-evaluate her psychological situation (yes, BSC, but really she sounds so unhinged) and do more than just throw meds at it. Yes, a couple of well-thought-out medicines, but FFS what if her internal organs are shutting down because of all the pills shes taking?
I also wonder if she pill shops. For real, if she just goes to different doctors and gets prescriptions. With her penchant for self diagnosis there are places on the internet that you can get all kinds of drugs and get them mailed to you. I am wondering if some of this is self medication-- but really, I think she is on too much medicine and its effing her up.
She SAYS she blocked the nest. I really don't think she did. I think she is eating this shyt up with a spoon while her rats groom her or something. We are the nest, we will give her what she wants because we are fascinated with the cray cray.
I do second the not linking from here if we can-- it would be a shame to lose the entertainment/trainwreck.

I feel like she is not mentally ill in the sense that she HAS a mental illness...
I think there's something about her that likes giving an image of someone who is so crazy, and mentally ill, and collecting reactions...which I guess could be an illness in and of itself.
but I see it as a variation of whatever is wrong with courtney stodden- the way she barfs out her weird warped interpretation of sexy...and I think in her head- all the attention is because people just can't handle how goddamn sexy she is- not how misguided and sad she is.
bval IMO, likes feeling persecuted for being so geeky, so different, so...crazy, and I feel like when shes not getting enough reaction to that hot topic bs, she has to reach- and what better novelty image than cuckoo?! nobody can prove she's not! and she can invent new symptoms and issues by the minute- and boy does she!
This is EXACTLY how I feel about bval.
