I just watched 'Fat Sick and Nearly Dead' and am inspired.
I don't eat many fruits and veggies so I'm especially intrigued; I'm pretty healthy and exercise regularly and eat well for the most part so I don't see myself juice fasting but rather just adding juice drinks to my daily diet.
Does anyone juice regularly? Has it had a big impact on your health? I'd definitely like to feel more energetic
Re: are you a juicer?
We do juicing (in addition to food) every now and again for a boost. It really brightens my complexion and I always get comments on how sparkly my eyes get when I do juice. Energy definitely increases too.
We juice red cabbage, carrots, celery, cucumber, lemon, apple, ginger etc. all in different combinations.
Thank you for the feedback! More energy and better poops (ha) are reason enough for me to give it a try. Is there a website you use for recipes or just throw stuff in? I'm worried without recipes I'll make stuff that isn't drinkable and give up.
There are plenty of recipes on the internet, but we pretty much just throw in whatever is in the fridge. Remember, carrots, berries, and other fruits are great maskers of flavor (and should be used in that order).
In our experience, juices always smell far worse then they actually taste.
