App fo building your own walking tour?
I have been doing a ton of reading and research for our upcoming trip to Paris. I don't want to haul around a bunch of books - I just want an Iphone app that will pull up the info I have logged for the area I am in (restaurant recommendations, interesting sites).
Does anyone know of one I can customize?
Re: App fo building your own walking tour?
Hello! I'm not sure of a customizable app, but I know that Rick Steves has apps of some of his walking tours: http://www.ricksteves.com/news/mobile_apps/iphone.htm.
Have a wonderful time! I haven't been to Paris in many years, but I would love to go again.
I second the Rick Steves apps - they're great.
For my recent trip to Barcelona, I downloaded the Free City Maps and Walks app, as well as the Lonely Planet app. Honestly, I didn't use either (we were with another couple who did lots of planning for us), so I can't say whether they were helpful or not. I believe they were free, so it can't hurt to download them.

I used a google map to build my walking tour itinerary through London.
Here is the example:

You can save it as PDF and then put it on your kindle or something like that. Or just print it out - which is what I did before i had the Kindle
