How's the house hunting going?
LOL my favorite subject! It's going ok. We have our first appointments on Saturday (we had just been going to open houses). My list of 12 is down to 6 because they were either short sales or in show status. I'm super disappointed because all of my favorites except one are no not on my list.
I'm hoping to be in the new house for the CT GTG.

That sucks ESD. Where in CT are you looking? I spent the first half of my life in Rocky Hill (if you have any idea where that is).

House hunting...can be alot of fun, I found it stressful myself.
I personally found it amazing how the homes were described in the write up and then when you get there and see it in person..LMAO!

DL, did you end up bringing the Murph to his breeder this weekend? How are you doing with everything? The universe really seemed to gang up on you last week.

I am wicked congested. Sudafed and all that is not even touching it - I miss smelling and tasting! My ears are also kind of blocked up, and I'm hoping it's not an ear infection. Tell me your congestion home remedies if you have them.
It's our billing day/busiest day of the month ... argh ... this afternoon I'll be on more!!
I do know where that is. CT is a small state, I know where most places are lol. I'm currently living west of there. We are looking in the Oxford/Middlebury/Southbury area.

Crazy, we played Rocky Hill in high school sports. Did you go to school there?
Yes.
It was an awful trip, very sad. The breeder knew exactly what he needed though, when we pulled up she grabbed his leash as soon as we got him out of the car and he went to bite and she gave him a no-nonsense response (confronted him rather than cower) and started working with him right away. He responded really well to her. We said our goodbyes and cried all the way home. It's been really sad w/out him around. I've talked to her a few times and she says he is adjusting pretty well considering all the changes he has been through.
She said this was the first litter she had that had issues with shyness/anxiety and had spoken with vets, the stud dog's owner and people familiar with dog genes and said that sometimes the genes just don't carry over. There's no history of this in his lines so somewhere along the line something went haywire. I guess all the dogs from his litter all have different issues that stem from anxiety.
I miss him a lot though. I haven't been talking about it much to anyone because it hurts pretty badly.
It's going to be 80 degrees here tomorrow. WTF.

You can have it. I spent three and a half hours in my car this morning on treacherous roads, and am sore from shoveling the stupid driveway. I cannot wait to get to Florida on Friday.
