Yay Wednesday?
So we're supposed to get slammed with quite the precipitation system today. I call it that because it's supposed to start as freezing rain, then go to snow, then back to rain, and then maybe thunder storms? Looking at the radar map the system extends all the way from St. Paul, through our area and then down to Memphis, so I'm sure I'm not the only one that'll get affected by this today!
Last night was more low key that I'd have liked, but Derek was just beat. He hasn't been sleeping well and has been working so hard that he's just dead when he gets home.
Tonight we have our 3rd prenatal class, so not much will get done today either. Oh well!

I had a great night out with friends last night. Fantastic new restaurant, but so sad to say good bye to my friend, I'm really going to miss her in London.
I'm off to a physio appt for my back in a few minutes, then have to leave a bit early tonight to see a moving company at our house for an estimate. We have another one coming tomorrow too, and hopefully one of those two is decent because I don't have time to get quotes from a bunch of places.

Morning ladies.
Last night was great. DH didn't have to work so it was nice to sit down to dinner together.
We are going to get hit with the same system Raynes is talking about starting later this afternoon and going through tomorrow. It's crazy because we haven't had much snow this year, but we could get 6-12 inches. Just when I was hoping Spring would get here.
Well I have another busy day at work. Have a great day ladies.
I can't believe its only Wednesday. I swore it was Thursday when I woke up this morning.
Yesterday I left work early since there was nothing going on and I had came in early. We went out to eat for my moms bday last night and it was nice to set all the drama aside for an hour and just eat. I hope things get better with her and my sister.
The rain is suppose to move in our way today also. Looks like we will have on and off again showers for the rest of the week. I have to admit I am kind of looking forward to them. I haven't been sleeping good the last 2 weeks or so. I am so sleepy right now I could lay under my desk and sleep for days. I am hoping the sleepy goes away and comes back tonight about 9:00 and I can sleep all night.
Morning ladies! It's unseasonably balmy here, so I'm not complaining. AND, B is working from home so that he can take Casey to the vet for a checkup, so I convinced him to drive me to work. It really only saves about 10 minutes, but it was so nice to have a ride. Today is going to be a nose to the grindstone kinda day. Lots to do, but the day should go by quickly.

Yesterday I got a new purse. A friend of mine started a design your own purse business last year and the purse that I designed came in. I'm very excited and so far I love it. Otherwise my evening was pretty quiet. I caught on some shows on my DVR.
We had thunderstorms last night. Toady is supposed to break 60 which will feel awesome. I'm in the office until about 2pm today and then head OOT for a meeting. I'm really hoping to be home before the TC finale starts tonight at 9. Needless to say, my evening will consist of watching that and not much else.

It's supposed to be 56* and sunny today, but it might snow Thursday night into Friday. We'll see - we haven't really had winter this year.
Good Morning.
Only 4 more days at my current job and I can't wait. Yesterday I filed all the paper work I needed for my business and got to check out some great galleries in Santa Fe. When I got home we got some bad news, DH Great Aunt passed away yesterday. She was a sweet lady. When I was first introduced to her she asked DH within two minutes when he was going to marry me! We aren't going to be able to make it back for the services but she will be missed.
Today is a full day at work so hopefully it will go quickly! Hope you all have a good day!
Yay, Wednesday!
I got an email message late last night asking if I could come by the office where I interviewed after work today. I think this can only be a good thing, but I'm not counting it as done until I have an offer in hand. So, I'll still take a little bit of vibes for this afternoon./evening that everything works out.
Other than that bit of exciting news, not much is going on today. The weather is cold and raining, which is gross. I can handle one or the other but both really wears me down.

It's funny how a couple of miles can make a huge difference, I feel like February has be super snowy for us. I had two days in the past couple of weeks that I've had to work from home because of the snow. I think this is the second snowiest Feb on record for Denver.
Good morning! Last night was extremely uneventful, J had a major craving for Arby's so we stopped there for dinner then we home and vegged.
Today I'm meeting an old co-worker for lunch, I haven't seen her since October, so I'm pretty excited to catch up with her. Tonight I'm planning a good workout, dinner, and some TV time.
That sounds very positive! Lots of vibes that you get some great news this afternoon!

Happy Wednesday! We're staying home today. I was supposed to have a play date but I cancelled due to the weather. Their place is about a 45 minute drive across the city in good weather, so I shudder to think what the drive would be like today. Hoping we can reschedule for later this week; I haven't seen them in a few weeks.
The stupid woman with the car didn't even call me yesterday afternoon. Well, she called me at like 9:30 in the evening and said, "I thought you were going to call me." Idiot, it's YOUR car, so if YOU want it fixed, YOU should've called me. So she said she'll call me tomorrow. Idiot. Why do I have a sneaky suspicion that she'll get lost on the way to the garage?
In happier news, I forgot to mention that I found out on Monday that a good friend of mine got engaged! They're hoping to have a fall wedding, and I am so excited for them. They are actually the couple that choreographed and taught V and I our wedding first dance. I expect an amazing party at their wedding

I was gone yesterday for the funeral services for Jay's uncle. His daughter did such an amazing tribute to him. I think people were sort of glad that his struggle was over, so the funeral was a bittersweet, sort of happy occasion. Then she read her poem and all the tears came. He has a young son who cried through the whole day. I really was mad that someone didn't take him out for a walk or something. The more people stopped and tried to comfort him, the worse it got. Not to mention, it was filled with people who knew the extended family and not so much his kids and wife, so crazy old people that the kid didn't know.
Tonight is supposed to be a crazy snow storm here as well, which really puts a damper on my girl's night. I feel like such a shittastic MOH, because I haven't really had time to get together with my friend, but she hasn't been around either. Tonight was the first time we'd see each other in probably a month. That's crazy for us, since we normally get together once a week. This weekend we're going to see Matt Nathanson together, so there will at least be that.

Dork-I'm sorry about your loss.
Last night we went and visited my mom in the hospital. She is sore but I think she feels better that the surgery part is over and that she can move on to recovery. I know it's going to be a very long 3 months of no walking on that foot for her but I think she's superwoman so I know she'll do great!
Tonight is school and nothing else. I'm tired and can't wait for the end of the week. This running back and forth all week between my mom's and having a little one is killing me over. I'm like a zombie, coffee is my best friend!
Oh ya, I totally forgot the best part. I have wanted to make a fabric headboard forever now (you know, the ones that are all over pinterest and tons of blogs) so I tackled it this past weekend. Jason got it put up last night and I'm pretty impressed with myself. It's kind of hard to see because the black wall and it's a crappy cell picture but here it is.. That room is finished once J hangs the last 4 pics tonight while I'm in school. Yay!

I'm sick. I want to curl up in bed and not move. Instead I got to trudge through show to get to work, which isn't fun on a 2 bus commute.
Due to weather and my cold I may have to skip the Top Chef gig tonight and that pisses me off.

I'm working on a project at work today so I've been busy with that this morning. Tonight DH is going with me to look at parks for Olivia's birthday party since he dropped the ball on reserving the one we originally planned on using. I am not as familiar with the parks in the area so I need to check them out before reserving a space. Other than that it will be a low key night at home. Hope you're all having a good day.

Ladies with the snow have fun! Like Bailey we have been dumped on a lot this month.
I have so much to do today! I have a test tomorrow and I have a 6 page outline due Friday. On top of that I am also trying to get my resume done so I can have someone at the school look at for me. I am also trying to get some job applications in before tomorrow. Anybody want to help??

Last night I had a good time hanging out with my friend. I'm trying to convince her to come and apply at my hospital but she's just not ready to leave community at this point. She would be SO good for our hospital. She gave me our shower present and it was our convertible car seat! I'm so blown away by her generosity.
I did manage to get up and hit the gym at 5am this morning but I wound up running late and had to cut things about 10 minutes short. It still felt good to have my workout in before work.
Work was pretty decent today. Workload wasn't unmanageable and stress was under control so that's always good. I did end up pretty exhausted by the end of the day. Hopefully I'll be in bed early tonight.
We did find out that one of the pharmacists gave her notice and is leaving mid-April. Between my maternity leave, her leaving, another pharmacist trying to get a 'compassionate reasons' leave, and 2 other pharmacists who are on leave and aren't coming back until May, they are going to be extremely short. Hopefully we can hire a few good people soon.
