Seersucker question (actually any striped fabric)

Okay so I am going to make a dress for my daughter and a matching tie for Easter.  I wanted to use seersucker but using stripes scares me because I am afraid you will be able to see if it is really off.

Has anyone had major issues with it or do you think I am over thinking things?

Re: Seersucker question (actually any striped fabric)

  • Just make sure you line up fabric. Before you lay out your pattern. Then line up skirt piece side seams and so on. Its not hard just take your time.

Remember no matter how you do it will line up better than a retail dress! :)

Warning No formatter is installed for the format bbhtml

this makes me laugh.  Even at Gymboree where the clothes are more expensive than mine, the patterns aren't EVEN close!

I will love you for you, not for what you have done or for what you will become
