Wow.. heels.. no less platforms? That takes some dedication.. I would never have attempted that when I was pregnant. I just wanted to be comfortable!
Re: More Jessica Simpson
I would be scared of falling
I feel bad for Jessica. She seems to have trouble dressing her body anyway because of her weight fluctuations, so I'm not surprised that her pregnancy wardrobe has been such a mixed bag.
I like her and she seems so happy about her pregnancy. It must stink that everyone is always talking about how terrible she looks. It's hard enough be pregnant when everyone is lying to you telling you that you're all belly and you look so fabulous... I can't imagine doing it when the whole world says you look awful. I guess that's the nature of the beast when you're a celeb.
I am in the minority with all things Jessica. I really like her and I don't see anything wrong with the dress/shoes while nms i do remember being that pregnant and wanting nothing touching my belly because it was huge and elastic/pant tops made me feel constricted and itchy. I also wore heels (while not that tall) to work every day it actually felt better to me with the back pains than flat shoes.
Also she is very short and has a short torso. Everyone told me how huge I was and was I sure that I wasn't carrying twins and how huge my baby was going to be. I ended up only gaining 25 pounds and she came out 6 pounds 14 oz and only 4 days early.

I want to give her a pair of sweat pants and flip flops. Pat the couch next to me and say "come sit and eat ice cream with me."
We can be big preggos together. I actually am excited to see if she has a girl and what the name will be.
FTR, I don't think she HERSELF looks bad. And I didn't get the hate with the last dress (the green number?) either. She just looks really uncomfortable. And that dress is way too heavy / tent-like / hot looking. Sweat pants and ice cream are just what the doctor ordered.
My heart goes out to her.
For me, pregnancy wasn't a fun experience either, and by the end, I didnt look pregnant anymore, I looked plain fat. There is no exaggeration of that either. Of course everyone around me was kind with words and looks, but looking back, I even said...yea...I was fat.
Now, I'm not sure if every pregnancy will be like this for me either, but thats how my body reacted...that and I didn't watch what I eat and I didn't exercise a whole bunch ... because I was uncomfortable. But I didn't know that exercise would help with the pain - hindsight is 20/20 they say.
The only positive thing about being pregnant, was that it gave me my little boy. So, in the end it was worth it.
