LLL question...best crops or shorts?
I am deciding to test out LLL. If it helps, I am a runner and crossfitter. So I need something with a drawstring. I am also tall too. Any recommendations for certain products? Can you return to stores if you buy online?

I don't see why you need a drawstring. I run and CF in my LLL stuff and none of it has a drawstring and it's fine.
I like the Groove crops best.

Well with other brands, I do better with a drawstring so it stays where I want to and doesnt fall below my belly pudge!
A lot of LLL shorts have a built-in drawstrings. I have Groovy shorts (got discontinued) and Turbo shorts (replacement for the Groovys). Good if you like somewhat longer shorts. I have ran all of my marathons in the Groovy shorts. I also have the Wunder Under crops. They fit like tights and have a couple of different waistbands ... I wanted one with a flat band. They are meant for yoga, but I've ran in them too.
Yes, you can return to the store if you buy online, but make sure you don't remove the tags. Also, the sale items are generally not returnable.

I have the Groove crops, & adore them. They don't slide down/move around while I run. I also have a pair of LLL's from 8ish years ago (bought in Canada before they were in the US, I think) & they do have a draw string. I love the the cut, but I've searched online & they don't make them anymore.
I have shorts that have the drawstrings and pants that don't have them and really I haven't noticed a difference. I have never used the drawstrings. (except to accidently pull them out of a pair of shorts, opps) The miracle of Lululemon pants is that they hide the belly bulge pretty well.

Sometimes I've had to tape my pants on in CrossFit so I don't lose them doing double unders. Now I always wear something with a drawstring.

I must be the board hoochie mama because I love the run speed shorts!
They are super short, but very comfortable, and I've never chafed in them.
For crops I like the luxtreme crops - my favorite ones are the run inspire ii (with mesh on the back of the leg). I have wunder under crops too - which are nice, but the luon they are made of is finicky - they can pill if they rub against stuff.
