Here I sit working and surfing the net, the whole house is asleep - I thought I'd ask - What is your worst habit?
Mine is DEFINITELY chewing ice. I cant help it. Not in a crazy "I have PICA" kinda way, but I've just always chewed ice. *Iron deficiency for which I take extra iron, but alas..I still do it.
I'm sitting in my office on the first floor, and DH is sleeping upstairs - I can hear him snoring from here. That is definitely his worst habit. LOL Its really bad.
...here is the deepest secret nobody knows
(here is the root of the root and the bud of the bud
and the sky of the sky of a tree called life; which grows
higher than the soul can hope or mind can hide)
and this is the wonder that's keeping the stars apart
I carry your heart(I carry it in my heart)
Re: Whats your worst habit?
The obscene amount of caffeine I consume on a daily basis.
And biting my nails.
Currently Reading: Don Quixote by Miguel De Cervantes
Like imoan, I bite my nails and drink insanely ridiculous amounts of caffeine. Like scary amounts. I should seek help.
This! Except I do my nose too. Though, worse than that, smoking.
Working (unpaid) overtime.
Falling asleep in my makeup
Worrying about things too damn much
Biting my nails, definitely.
The only time I've been able to stop long term was getting ready for the wedding when I got one of those gel manicures every week and that is too expensive.
I do this too. I refuse to stop lol.
I stopped biting my nails ten years ago, but now I destroy my cuticles.
Also I mostly quit smoking, but still do on occasion, and it annoys even me. lol.
Updated September 2012.
I used to bite my nails as a kid. All.the.time.
My grandmother (mean!) hot sauced my fingers. So, when I tried to bite them, it would burn my mouth. That stopped fast.
biotch. LOL
I'm sorry but that is NOT a bad habit! (probably because that's pretty much what I do with all of my free days too)
Currently Reading: Don Quixote by Miguel De Cervantes
Because I have Karatosis Pilaris, my cuticles tend to tear/rip easily and I just make it worse. Sometimes it looks like my fingers are just totally raw around the nails. It blows, but I managed to stop biting my nails!
I pick at my scabs.
I eat when I'm bored.
Biting/chewing my nails.
Muddled, mine are too. I am sooo treating myself to a manicure soon in hopes of breeaking it (I have never had one)
Chewing ice is a sign of some serious anemia; do you get tested for your various levels of iron and Vitamin B's? (not just taking iron pills, but getting tested?)
MIne is butting in with unasked for advice, and biting my nails. And eating chocolate.
