Taking Pictures

My fiance and I are purchasing our first condo and going to look at several this weekend. We are looking at several models within the same buildings and was wondering if it is considered OK to take a camera and take pictures, so we can remember details when we're back home.  None of these apartments actually have people living in them., so we won't be taking pictures of peoples' things.

Re: Taking Pictures

  • I've had to look at a few houses without my husband and I brought a small flip video camera along so I could show him when I got home. My agent said it was fine as long as the owner isn't there and you don't post it publicly.
  • My realtor encouraged me to bring a camera on every tour we've done.  Definitely bring one!
  • We did!! It was not a problem.

  • I took so many pictures every where we went. Even when we went to a 'by appointment only' house and the seller's realtor was there we were still allowed to take pictures

  • Last week while touring homes we found the funniest/weirdest/creepiest house - so glad I had my iphone to snap pictures with. My realtor asked if I could forward the pictures I had taken. The home in a really nice neighborhood was normal on the first floor. On the second floor the first thing at the top of the stairs was giant black jetted bath tub. It was surrounded by carpet and a mirrored wall. The sliding mirrored wall slid open so you could see the bathroom from two different bedrooms. We joked that it was Quagmire's house.

Please buy it! ;) I would love to see those pictures. That house sounds ridiculous!
