Davy Jones is dead :(
He was my favorite Monkee. I saw him twice in person and he was such a sweet guy and great entertainer.

Oh no!
Mommy moment, but the song "My Personal Penguin" he sings is so darn sweet.
Now I have the Monkee's theme song in my head and had a flashback to the cartoon.
He was the same age as my dad...which is not very old.
Bummer.
I was partial to Mickey myself.
I met Mickey twice, as in up close and personal, even shook his hand. He's really nice too. The first time I met him, he showed up at a pub where a Beatles tribute band was playing and sang Oh! Darling with them. It was awesome.
