New "pets"

We got out chickens yesterday!  They are over the top cute and adapting to their new home very well.  H is working on building the coop and I am having fun playing with them.  I just thought that I would share some cuteness overload this morning :)   Sorry its a little dark, I took the picture this morning before the sun came up.  There are actually 6 of them, but the other one must have been eating or something.

  • Yay!  You'll love them!  Are they all the same?  Rhode Islands?  Can't really tell, haha!

  • None are Rhode Islands (I actually cannot remember now!), but we got 3 of one breed and 3 of another - all pullets.  I wanted RI, but TSC didn't order any for some reason.  They are already very spoiled chickens - I can only imagine that it is going to get worse.
