What to add with Greek yogurt?

Going to start eating Fage 0% Greek yogurt but would love some healthy (bonus if high in fiber, low in sugar) add-in suggestions to top it....

Re: What to add with Greek yogurt?

  • I usually eat plain with fresh fruit and trail mix. It is my favorite snack!

  • I add Splenda and a dash of vanilla extract to Fage, then I smear it on Nutrigrain waffles, and top with a teaspoon of Smuckers Low Sugar Strawberry Preserves. Great breakfast. My favorite way to eat Fage is on a waffle.

  • I top mine with fresh fruit and granola or kashi go lean cereal.  Usually drizzled with honey or maple syrup.
  • Honey is one of my go-to mix ins.

I also like to add cereal like Oatmeal Squares or just almonds.

  • Ditto everybody else - mainly fruit. My favorites are raspberries & bananas. It makes a yummy dessert too. Just mix in whatever you want to mix in, pop it in the freezer for 20 min or so and voila, ice cream! (sort of Wink)
  • Fruit and a little honey.  My favorite is fresh plums or peaches, but only when they are in season.

  • Cinnamon is my usual because I know it's the a 0 cal additive and cinnamon is GREAT for you.

Sometimes I add pumpkin, but that's a little more difficult now that we're out of the season, and I don't like the canned stuff (especially because 100% Canned Pumpkin, isn't actually pumpkin. ;) )

Pumpkin is also great to add because it's low cal, low sugar, protein, and tastes very creamy in the yogurt :)
