Grocery bill AW (NSOR) for you LTP
For February I only spent $249! That was $101 under budget. I'm very proud of myself. The menu/meal planning is really working for me.
I do need to work on my dining out budget though. I have allotted $180 (which is a LOT, I know) but I still barely got in under on that one. I find that since I'm single I definitely dine out more. And me and the two besties go to breakfast every Saturday morning after our run. I need to eat before and then just get coffee or something.

Re: Grocery bill AW (NSOR) for you LTP
Wow. I spent $111 just this week in groceries and I am only feeding myself.
They see us rollin'...they be hatin'.
I started planning out meals for every two weeks. I'll get some staple (like chicken breasts) that are on sale and plan multiple meals out of them. Or I will use one thing several times like making a roast in the crockpot with veggies one night, then using the leftover roast for tacos the next night.
Also meatless meals are good as well or breakfast for dinner. It's basically planning things out so I don't waste anything.
Then I just go twice in one month for the major shopping and pick up the staples (milk and fruit) in between.
I do this as well. I am also an avid Kroger shopper and pay attention to when the adds are really great like this past week. I got both weekly/fresh essentials and staples for around 3 weeks (including a couple pantry staples for when I move) for $135! Plus with Kroger I get to save a little on gas too.
