Another travel-related question
DH and I purchased our plane tickets last night and on our way back home we have a stop in Dublin with a 9 hour layover. Are you allowed to leave the airport during a layover? Please say yes because 9 hours is a loooong time to be stuck in an airport! Also will we be going through customs when we stop in Ireland from Barcelona or only when we get back into the states and about how long should we estimate for that process?
Re: Another travel-related question
Yes, you can definitely leave the airport! Take the time to do a quick run into the city (if I remember correctly, it's not too far away). You'll probably have to go through an immigration check, and since you're not on an EU passport the line may be a bit longer, but how long it takes depends on how busy they are. I don't remember it being any longer than 30 min, and probably much less than that.

Yes, kaesha. It would suck if it was 1am. It's equally as sucky that it's in fact 12:35am haha The only things open will be pubs I'm sure, but hey...when you're in Ireland!
