Greek yogurt vs. Kroger Carbmaster yogurt?

I love Fage and Chobani greek yogurt, as well as Kroger's Carbmaster yogurt. I normally eat Kroger's Carbmaster yogurt (w/1 Tbsp of ground flaxseed), but I notice I am still hungry afterwards, and I really do not care to eat (2) yogurts.

Will I be more satiated after eating greek yogurt (fage or chobani)? I know the protein count is higher, but so is the carb count (and I'm borderline diabetic so I like to keep sugars low).

I am including the nutrition info below...

Kroger (fruit): 60 cal, 2g fat (1g saturated), 4g carbs (3g sugar), 8g protein

Fage 0% (plain): 98 cal, 0g fat, 6.7g carbs (6.7g sugar), 17g protein... will add some fresh fruit/raspberries and some crushed almonds on top

Chobani (fruit): 140 cal, 0g fat, 20g carbs (19g sugar), 14g protein

  • The Fage 0% plain is probably your best (but also most expensive) bet. It has the protein to keep you satisfied longer, but it lacks the added sugar of the Chobani.

  • I will often have plain Fage (SUPER high in protein) mixed with some vanilla extract, stevia, and slivered almonds. It's very satisfying and lasts me until lunch. I've also tried the carbmaster yogurt and it didn't keep me full for very long.

Definitely. Adding a few berries adds almost no sugar. Chobani has quite a bit of added sugar. And as long as it's not a ton of almonds, that won't be a huge difference. Chobani is notorious for being full of sugar, but I still eat it.
