BWtinyLO: ? about high fat diets
I have a friend who was told at her daughter's 18 month appt she needs to "fatten her up". I know a few of you were told the same. Can anyone share some ideas that worked that I can pass on?
Re: BWtinyLO: ? about high fat diets
We are starting solids now and I found this helpful:

This also has some helpful tips (although some overlap):

Lots of healthy high fats:
Avocadoes
Butter
Coconut Oil
Olive oil -- we cooked everything in butter and olive oil or coconut oil
Cheese
Tofu
Lean cuts of meat
Beans
Neena ate all of this food like crazy and she's still tiny. I think some kids are just going to be tiny. :-)

Yeah- I agree with that. There has to be some kids that tiny to make up the percentiles right? She did say she is really picky so I think she is worried now her daughter isn't getting enough nutrition even though I am pretty sure she is.
Thanks for your help guys!
